Located in the middle of the fields, perched above the Vaucouleurs valley in the country of Mantois en Yvelines, the Heurteloup farm includes several activities that, together, form a living whole:
Vegetables gardening
First there is the cultivation of the land: vegetables, berries and wheat are grown on 2.3 hectares of land according to ancient traditions, and as much as possible, in harmony with nature. Vegetables and fruit are certified organic.
The bakery
In the farm’s bakery, various breads are made from flour made from the farm’s wheat and the neighbour’s wheat (half Wholemeal T110 and Wholemeal T150), and flour purchased 3km from the farm. The breads are baked in the original oven of the farmhouse built in 1912, as well as in the new oven, completed in 2012. The breads are also certified organic.
Boutique
The fruits of the soil and bread are sold at the farm shop, located 800m from the farmhouse, on the historic site of Binanville castle, 200m from the D65 between the villages of Breuil Bois Robert and Arnouville les Mantes.
